"Vicki has been our agent for 15 years. In the 15 years, we have been so happy with the service she has provided. While other insurers have tried to upsell us, we have never gotten that with Vicki. While our policy has changed many times, it has always been in a low pressure situation and with us seeking to add to our policy. We have other experiences as well- when our checking account was hacked, they worked with us calmly and closely to get back on track as quickly as possible. Pam was very kind and patient about explaining the available choices. She didn't push me to accept the most expensive options, but helped me understand how to protect our property. She reminded me that after I get married we will need to update my umbrella policy to include my new husband. Pam printed a long document out for us to list our property to ensure that everything was covered. I couldn't ask for a better agent than Pam, and I appreciate her very much!"

"Everything’s great, until it’s not. We worked with Pam for home and auto insurance. Before we signed with them, we gave them all of our information (age of roof, etc.) Shortly after, they sent someone to do a walk around our property. We were told it’s standard procedure to make sure everything was as we stated. No problem we thought, as we had been completely honest about our home and we keep it well maintained. Then we get a phone call: Stare Farm no longer wants to insure us due to the age of our roof. Um, what?!? Mind you, they knew the age of our roof when we signed with them, the person they sent to walk our property did not go on our roof, and we’ve never had a problem with our roof. Pam said, don’t worry, if you get a new roof, it will be fine. Just show us your contract and you can keep your coverage. We decided to go ahead and get a new roof because it was 20 years old we knew we’d eventually need a new one. Within two weeks, we sent over our roof contract so that we could maintain home insurance coverage. Three days later we get a call saying oops, I guess corporate changed their policy and we won’t cover you even though you are getting a new roof and did everything we asked you to do. We were told we had 3 more days of coverage! 3 days to find new insurance! Unacceptable. The only reason they got 2 stars instead of 1 was because they apologized and admitted they screwed up instead of shifting blame. Maybe we dodged a bullet though, every contractor we talked to said State Farm was the worst to work with for claims and good luck getting anything covered if needed."
